I have one plain, brown rabbit fur sporran, and this is how I use it:

    * I have removed the picture because that link might not work in the future. The fur sporran can be seen in my pictures over in the gallery or in my albums.

That is about as dressy as I can go right now: no jacket yet. However, I'm looking into having a brown corduroy jacket adapted for kilt wear to go with this outfit folowing MacMillan of Rathdown's suggestion, as well as, brown kilt hose.

I do usually like to dress nicely, but formal events aren't a large part of my life right now. I have a couple of three piece suits and so on in case a wedding or something like that comes up.
    Hopefully it looks alright...

    * as Chef pointed out, I am wearing my flashes incorrectly in the picture. I have started wearing them correctly sense this picture was taken. Thanks Chef.
Also, someone photoshopped out the misplaced flash for me since this discussion. And I have converted a brown corduroy jacket and waistcoat to complete the outfit.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

    Thank you, BoldHighlander.

    * The driving cap is a matching tweed to my shoes, though you can't see my shoes. I hav thought of trying to match a tweed jacket to those, but in my mind that is too much matching tweed. Perhaps a corduroy driving hat, tweed jacket, and brown shoes would be a second option.
