I've not had that experience yet but have anticipated it. My prepared response is that the kilt is part of the uniform of the Church militant then spout the many verses in Psalms relating to God's love and care for warriors. I suppose if they get to obnoxious I can remind them that I tend to be Ecclesiastical in my outlook. I have said that before and the point got across that I didn't care to be messed with. Of course, that depends on them knowing their Bible well enough to know what I mean.
