*sigh* I really don't need the "use the search" feature. I was just offering up something that I randomly found that wasn't in this thread and seemed appropriate, next time I guess I won't bother.

It's true that the prices of those hose are a bargain, but the quality isn't so good. Rather than repeating the negative criticism again, I refer readers to the original posts.

You're better going straight to the manufacturer - http://www.kshosiery.co.uk/ - he charges £95 ($185.96) a pair but they are good quality and match your tartan properly. If you keep them for formal wear they will last for years, I have others made in 1950 that I still wear.
If you really want to dress right it is the only way to go. I mean why spoil the ship for a ha'porth of tar?
