Formal Hose--loads of questions

I'm just gonna say this right out loud, right now. I LIKE stark white hose with black tie, a crisp white shirt and a kilt. I think it looks classy.

I can get nice popcorn-top, stark, gleaming, brilliant white pipers hose for $21. Twenty-one bucks.

So all you guys who feel that white hose is an abomination can go right ahead and do that, but I am gonna keep wearing them because I LIKE them.

I don't think they are an abomination. I actually like them - a bit like wearing a white scarf with a tuxedo. I think, though, people get obsessed with something they're interested in - like cars or photography or fishing, and spend money on it whenever they can. It's just human nature but it doesn't entitle anyone to criticise someone else's taste so carry on wearing your white hose (but please not thin ones you can see your legs through). There I go, can't help it.

Good for you, Alan. My own preference is for cream, but I'm with you on this.

As for those $200 socks, at that price, they'd better levitate me an inch above the floor to keep my feet from getting sore.
