A wildly drunken man started humming and opened his mouth.
I was expecting another rendition of 'Donald where's yer trooser?'
What did I get?

'Where's yer wellies?!'
I'm still trying to figure out why he expected me to be wearing wellingtons.
You dont know why you're expected to wear wellies?
As billy conolly said, of scotish national dress... Edinburghs the only place you see kilts, chooktas wear wellies!

I've gotten a few political discussions out of my wearing a kilt. One person was an anarchist who supported going "against the system." Another was a girl in choir who knows people in the IRA. I was quite uncomfortable in both situations, since I just wear my kilt to wear my kilt, not due to my political/philosophical/religious positions (whatever they may be).

Coemgen,
For those types, read the bottom line of your own signature.
Works for me.

I would just bet, that he has waited a long time to use that line. It almost seems...planned. Do you think he knew you were expecting "the question" and threw you a curveball?

I figure it's actually a reference to the last Gaelic Storm album that came out, called "Bring Yer Wellies" I realize that Pat's Irish and most of the rest of the band is American, but most people don't draw the distinction.

Walking through Sears tool section tonight, a guy says, " Well, I guess you get a lot of questions about that". I answered, Yes I do. "Well, then I won't ask".. I thought that took a lot of reserve. And showed some class.
