We honeymooned in Scotland in 2001, spending the first week in Edinburgh and the second hiking across Skye. Is the Fringe Festival too touristy to mention?? It was my favourite part. We stayed at a B&B right on the Royal Mile, about 1/2 mile from the castle. Amazing.
