I know cat and canid tracks in snow, and rabbits' as well - I say bobcat and cottontail. Neither one was in a hurry, though - the tracks are too close together.
Big cat running for sure in 1 & 3. Personal experience confirmed by my 1948 Scout Field Manual.

My initial impression was Catamount which IIRC is the term for an Eastern Mountain Lion. The pouncing in pic. #4 looks like some of the hunting actions I have seen/ heard about from Bobcats and those cats in the Serengeti [sp?] that hunt in the tall grass and pounce on lunch
I contacted the local office of the NY DEC today and they said that the tracks were made by a bobcat. I wish I had seen it! I think I will need to look into one of those automated cameras that others have suggested. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts on what made the tracks. Now we know...

I honestly think there was more than one bobcat lurking about. There was one set of tracks poking around the foundation of the house and a second set about 6 feet away. And yeah, they were probably tracking said rabbit.
