    A case for pockets

So today after work I threw on my Freedom Kilt. I hadn't worn it in a while. So I thrust my hands into the hidden front slash pockets and low and behold what do I find?

    + +

That's almost enough for two large

Now let's see you "traditional" kilted gents claim that!

Thank you very much Mister Ashton.

I just added a pocket to the underapron of one of my camo hiking kilts. I see more pockets in the future.

I haven't yet gotten up the courage to attempt a slash pocket, but I fear that day is fast approaching.

I know that feeling. My first slash pocket was on my very first kilt and only minimally acceptable. My second attempt was my last attempt and on a kilt that I never finished (now buried somewhere in my stash.) I'm afraid "that day" has past me by...

Heck that happens to me every time I change sporrans.... I get to retrieve all the loose change that I don't take time to put in the change bag and just throw inside. It eventually settles to the bottom.

Thus a reason I'm a fan of pockets on kilts...always a surprise a-waiting each time when you put it on.

Hmm...that gives me a new answer for "the question"...

    "What's under the kilt?"
    "A Surprise."
