It is indeed one of theirs as is the 'Heritage of Scotland' chain.
They sell some decent stuff and I have one of their kilts I am happy with for day-to-day wear, but I don't think I'll buy anything more from then now that their tactics have gone so far beyond underhand.

That said, the Pride of Scotland tartan is just a lovely tartan that has nothing to do with them

Yes Arlen is right - even with the more quality stuff every pound they get is a pound denied to more ethical businesses and also helps the GB empire to extend and encroach upon them.

Just to clarify Forrestermoderns comment that the Gold brothers are English and not Scots, in fact "gold bros" is and alias for the Singh family who actually hail from India. However this shouldnt be a factor -what is a factor is

    Shoddy goods

If you look at their Ebay accounts not very good feedback and constantly changing EBAY ids

    Copyright violation

most shamefully turning a world heritage site into a "Tartanarama" market.
and now it seems misleading customers about ownership of businesses

heres the website that list most of the businesses

Are you really certain? Doing a quick little merchants check it seems that they are different legal entities. I'd place my wild guess they are an independent merchant trying to survive the changing market. Their Web is from FDS Developments Ltd. and they are hosted in the UK.

Heritage of Scotland (Gold Bros) by contrast is hosted in Orlando Fl US (and the web was, my educated guess, sourced from India).

    Absolutely positive.
They have so many chains, Ebay stores and individual stores now that it's hard to keep track, but I've ordered from both and, when contacting 'customer services' got referred to the same office for Heritage of Scotland and Pride of Scotland.'

To Clarify who owns pride of scotland..

    Pride of Scotland
    Heritage of Scotland
    Scotland Shop
Royal Mile Cashmere ( closing down for last two years )
    Wee gift Shop
    John Morrison Kiltmakers

These are the shops are all owned by the Golds Bros tat empire. I asked one of their employees this morning and he said they are all owned by them or by theirs brothers, nephews, cousins etc, etc. Im sure thats what he said with his thick polish accent.
