OK, I tried, but I can't get the pic to post, any ideas? I have the pic hosted on my flickr account, so it should work.

    Is this what you wanted?

You were missing the .jpeg bit at the end of the link

    my first kilt

    Hi folks

Well, my first kilt was worn on my second (ie: most recent) marriage. It's a rental, but it's a nice heavyweight Wallace... and it was wonderful! It's the reason I'm here and hooked on kilts.

    The bride and groom

my first kilt that I actually owned (a Stillwater heavyweight which was actually a tad too big, and so was sold to another Xmarker).

And yes, that last pic shows me playing "guitar hero II" for the PlayStation2 - I did mention that I was a geek, didn't I?!

    cheers

    You make a fine pair!
Your son wearing a kilt reflects well on him. Wearing a kilt shows individuality, courage, strength and.... knees.

This is from when I was about 2 1/2 or 3 years old.
My mum had made all the kilts for some function for my Dad's club.
I am the one in the front and centre. The only boy.
The one on the bottom right is one of my sisters and the tallest one with fair hair in the centre is my other sister.

    Kilted Warrior's first kilt

According to http://www.house-of-tartan.scotland....se/reverse.asp 's tartan-finding program, it seems closest to Rangers F. C. Corporate, or possibly Morgan/McKay Blue. (IS there any green in it? If so, it doesn't show up on my terminal screen.) Sometimes i wonder whether tartan weavers don't goof occasionally (too many "wee draps?")...

He tried to wear it to school the Monday after he got it and Mom said it would be best to wait until I go with him.

He wants to take me for show and tell, you see, both in our kilts. He wants me to tell a Scottish tale or two (maybe tell of sylkies or the terrible Haggis that roams the hillsides of the Scottish Highlands). I thought I'd also gather the names of the other kids in his class and look up a brief history of their surname (being of Celtic origin or not) to help start them on their way to discovering who they are.
