Great photos, and that looked like a fantastic trip!
I'm not sure if you got the title for the first picture right... You're only just on the banks!

Thanks to all. As to the lack of kilt, I don't wear it everyday. I wear it at least once a month to work, clan society meetings, Highland Games, the local pub, and special events. I did get to wear it to Scotland for our first trip, which was the wedding, and doned it for a nice day in Inverness and surrounding area. However draging my kilt and all the other gear around for this trip seemed to much, and with luggage loss being what it is, I felt it should stay home.

Great pics, and you have really seen quite a few of the sites north of Glasgow. You really must tour south of Glasgow next time.

That's the plan. Arran, the Borders, Aberdeen and then the Shetlands.

Thanks Frank,
Appreciate the pics of Uig and Staffin. My five great grandfather Ludovic Macdonald was from Uig, then moved to Staffin. Imagine the museum houses are a replica of how he lived.

Thanks for the photos. I agree with eveyone about how beautiful they are. How can one get a quick explanation of the meaning of some of the various sites?
I understood your concern about losing your kilt in transit. Would that not have been, however, a good excuse to get one while you were there?

I wonder if one of these would work for "carry on"?

Has anyone ever done so before?
At any rate, great photos Frank. I enjoyed them

Just let me know which ones you want some words on.

I'm just a one kilt kind of guy. If I did get another, it would be the same as the one I have now. And this was the one I was married in, so it's "more" special in case of loss. In fact it's been in Scotland more than me! It was made by Lochcarron, and came over for the wedding on our first trip, than made 2 more without me to be resized (I lost about 30lbs). So in all I have been on Scottish soil twice, and the kilt 4 times! I have some catching up to do...lol, if it sould ever make it over again without me, I'll send a camera with it. I'll post the photos here, and everyone can ask where's Frank?... LMAO
