Anyway, some of these vests, I have a few of them, seem to work with the sporran. The vests from the suit jackets have the different material for the back... I like the idea of a single material vest for wearing on it's own with the kilt. I do have a black leather vest that I have worn with a solid color kilt, and that seems to work well. I keep it unbuttoned though because I'm wearing it as casual dress.
