    Hello, Robert,

    I'd never heard of double box pleating. Seems to me it would be very thick and bulky.

    Lucky fellow to have someone make these things for you. I have had to make my own!

    Here are the pics Wompet supplied of the double box pleat kilted skirt:







    I don't imagine it would be very difficult to apply the principles of pleating and tapering to build a man's kilt with double box pleats.

    I'm glad W2F found those pictures - I couldn't find my originals anywhere. The pleats are a little splayed from hanging in the cedar closet that way for over 30 years.
    Having seen the double-box pleated skirt, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the kilt.
