I haven't seen HANK in a LONG time. Is it a spoken word or a music performance? I have pretty much ALL of his spoken word CD's. That man CRACKS ME UP.
I haven't seen DKM for a few months either.
If you live close to Indianapolis, I HIGHLY suggest taking in 1 or both of these shows.

Rollins is doing the spoken word show in Indy. The funny thing is, I've tried to see him several times over the last several years. Always sold out. Then, when I was in Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival last year, I finally got to see Hank live. Here's the quick story...
I had been bumbling around Edinburgh for 4 days, taking in all the different shows without ever bothering to open a program (you don't need one in order to find entertainment there). On day 4, I flipped open a program, and my thumb was sitting squarely below HENRY ROLLINS on the first page I opened to. The box office was 10 yards from me, so I scampered over to ask about tickets. Sure enough, they had seats left! I arrived to the show early that same night, and sat front row center seat. What a great way to finally get to see him for the first time- karma was on my side. Interestingly enough, a good portion of the show was spent talking about American tourists... I laughed the whole time.
Now, back home and just a few months later, Hank is coming to my neck of the woods and seats are still available. Just seems odd since I could never see him "at home" before, had no trouble getting a seat for the Scotland show, and now there seems to be no problem getting tickets "at home."

I'll be seeing DKM on March 3rd here in Arizona. I've always been busy every single time they've come in the past and I've never had a chance to see them. My schedule finally works with their tour dates so i'm excited. There are 4 acts playing that night though, and I'm worried that DKM's headlining performance won't start until SUPER late and not go very long. Hopefully my worries are wrong. I'll let you all know next week!
Slainte!

Today is the day- Dropkick Murphys in Indy!
Doubt I'll be kilted since it *might* get up to 50 tomorrow during the best part of the day, but I'll be there. I'll try to check this thread before I leave home, and perhaps I'll get to meet someone from the boards there.
Rollins was pretty good last Thursday- he talked for 3 straight hours!
