I work as a social worker for Hospice, an agency which provides palliative care to those with six months or less to live. 80% of my clients are above 70 years of age, though I do get some kids here and there, and some people in their 30's. I don't mind getting older, and I don't mind all the bs that may happen t me each day. I know that no matter how bad my day might seem, my clients would gladly trade my absolute worst day for their best day. And somehow it makes life easier thinking about it like that. When you have to sit and work on your taxes, or sit through a boring 3 hour meeting...or do your homework...run to the grocery store....the list goes on and on. But when you have to do those things, rather than think about it as "I have to do this again", think about it like "I have the ability to do these things again."
Perhaps that was a little off topic, but not too much.
I would not want to be younger than I am. Most people already tell me I act too old for my age, so if anything I'd prefer to be a bit older so that I fit in better with those around me.

I remember being seven years old - standing in the back garden and considering that one day I would be fourteen, then twenty one, and then twenty eight.
I did not consider being any older, as the sheer enormity of years seemed impossibly long.
I can't recall ever feeling the same way about growing older ever again - though once was quite enough.
I believe that the oldest person in the world is about twice my age now. There's something to think about.
I presume to dictate to no man what he shall eat or drink or wherewithal he shall be clothed."

I'm Peter Pan! Or is that Peter Cottentail...?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I would not ever want to be a teenager again. I don't think I'd even want to repeat my 20's. I wouldn't mind having the body of a 20 year old again though...

I'd never really thought I was getting older until I hit my 39th birthday. That night my wife and I were sitting in a Boston Pizza in my hometown having supper. I was checking out the hot little waitresses when it dawned on me...."Good grief!...I probably went to school with these girls parents!" Suddenly I felt old. Funny how that works, eh? LOL

You can wish to be older and your wish may come true.
You cannot become younger.
