" I never knew any foxes could climb trees until visiting the fox glade at Brookgreen Gardens near Myrtle Beach, SC and seeing greys and reds lounging in some very high branches. The guide mentioned that normally, red foxes can not climb trees but these had learned the behavior from watching the grey foxes they were kept with."
And if this behavior persists someday we'll have . . . . .
And that is going to make for some really tiny full mask sporrans.
Fair winds,

We have scorpians that can climb trees out here... I wonder if you could mount one of those on a sporran... It would have to be an evening wear sporran though, because the tree climbing scorpians are black... Might make an interesting kilt pin...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

With the amount of latino specialty shops we have, I'm sure I can find a gold plated Scorpion. Maybe a real one and then plate it or just add a pin.

Well, people make belt buckles with them.

We used to pour fiberglass resin over them and make paperweights.
A gold plated scorpion would make a cool kilt pin though.

Sounds good to me. I have a kilt pin that is a simple depiction of a zebra. That's not at all a traditional kilt pin. You could use all kinds of things.

Scorpion mounted on a sporran? If someone wants the scorpion I'll gladly mount it for them, what they do with it after that is their own business! I've been personally thinking of a crow for the front of a sporran.

I tried covering the front of a sporran with pheasant skin but it came out horrible. It looked better in my imagination than it actually turned out.
