To kilt or not to kilt: A St. Paddy's Day conundrum

I called my mother. She and her husband won't be having the Scottish/Irish party this year again. The seventeenth is on a Monday, so I probably won't be going into town. Guess there's no reason to wear or not wear a kilt. Perhaps if I am hopping around the garden, I will wear my gardening kilt and a green shirt of some sort. Just a thought. I really don't have any reason to celebrate that day...
