New to X Marks
New to X-Marks, not as new to the wearing of kilts (although at the moment I only have the one).
I am a New Englander currently exiled here in Delaware, but looking forward to probable relocations to other parts by summer.
I have a traditional knife-pleated kilt in Livingston Modern tartan. In addition to the "lowland" Livingstons, the "highland" Clan MacOnlea, later called MacLea (my name), now known as the "highland" Livingstons or Livingstones have established this as their main tartan. So, when I got married I was married in this tartan, although I consider this the first of many that I will be buying and wearing!
I'll try posting a picture of me in the kilt here too. At a less formal occasion than my wedding--this one after the Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk, when a clansman friend (cropped out) and I hit the Dubliner Irish Pub in DC for some drinks after. Without further ado:
