Great photos Derek!
Sorry I missed so much of the parade, collecting a new car in Builth Wells threw all my timing out so I had to head for the finish where I also captured some pics.
I did go to the Terra Nova but couldn't see you and with the crowds it's not easy to find people.

I add my thanks, Derek, for the pics. They are excellent. Good to see that you enjoyed the day. That feast means a lot to me. The Archbishop of Cardiff's office was kind enough to send me the texts for the liturgy of that day many years ago.
What, though, is that saffron(?) colored robe about? I mean the one next to the other guy in a robe? Do they represent some region of Wales or Brittany?

Well I might as well post my pictures in the same thread!
Here are a couple to be going on with on this, my 3000th post!
The parade organiser carrying a very large St David's Cross Flag.

And a view from the rear, it was fairly windy but still no embarrassments!

More to come!

Oh, I had wondered what that flag was! Where does the cross come from? Does that flag represent the whole nation?
I'm also curious if the Welsh cilt style basically just adopted Scottish usage.

Nice photos of the event. The before & after beers were a good idea int:
I was going to ask what the black flag with the gold cross was all about, but McClef answered that.
