Kiltless Texan Saying Hello!
Hello, My name is Darby and I am a 21 year old kiltless lad from Texas.
I have alway wanted a kilt, but this weekend at the N. Texas Irish Festival really pushed me to get a kilt. I have only been about 4-5 times(first time when i was a newborn, so I obviously didn't notice much) but I have never seen so many kilts there. Alot of Utilikilts and Traditional Kilts. Not a huge fan of the UT, nothing against the folks who wear em, I just want something traditional. So I am here to learn, then hopefully sometime in the near future I will be buying my first kilt.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

from Chicago. You'll find a lot of great info here on buying your first kilt. I got my first one from Stillwater kilts (aka SWK). Their kilts are reasonably priced and good quality considering the price.
