Showing tonight at ten p.m. on PBS and VERY much worth watching. Also, a major tour in the U.S.. Check your local PBS listings at the Celtic Thunder site and ENJOY!

It was shown on our local PBS station last night. The the band members are also kilted through out the show. Nice show but for me the highlights were when the pipers came out for "Mull of Kintire" and "Caledonia"

I saw the show and immediately identified the kilt suits the singers wore as the work of Howie at 21st Century Kilt. Did anybody else?
They'll be doing a couple of shows here in the NY Metro area. On October 7th, they'll be at Radio City Music Hall, and at the Nassau Coliseum on November 2nd. Anybody interested in trying to going? going as a group?

My dear wife caught that one last night in the wee hour s (She works night and so stays up when she's home so as not to break her routine). When I got up this morning she all about it, telling me everything about the presentation. What surprised me a bit was that she said she really liked the solid color Kilt suits worn during one segment. I'll be looking for it when it repeats to get a look for myself.

Also the band kilts bear the trademark TFCK kilt pins. It's kind of cool to see the kilts just sort of blending in, not at all seeming gimmicky.
This being fund drive season, the show is playing now on our local PBS. This is the testosterone-laden answer to Celtic Woman? What a strange thing! The music is good, but a bit on the saccharine side. Does this movement have a name?

I saw it when it came on here, but I couldn't make it through the sappy arrangements and production to watch the whole thing.

I like the kilt vests the performers wore. As said above they wore kilt suits and the vest was cut straight across the bottom just above the belt line. This allowed them to wear both vest and belt.

I just saw a commercial for their DVD. Gawds! Its unbearably CHEESY! It is what I would expect to see on "The Cruise of Irish Stars"!
No doubt the lads are gifted, but "Puppy Love"? "Desperado"? Dreadful! The worst of exploiting Celtic Heritage.
