Sorry I couldn't make it to the one yesterday, I had things...
You can bet we will do another, and soon. We can discuss the when's and where's, and try to fit everyone's needs in. We missed your presence, but you were discussed!
I likely won't be able to attend another such night until after the Mint Hill Games, but that doesn't stop the rest of you from doing so.

Mac and Nick, it was good start. Hopefully we can have a larger crowd of kiltee's at our next Charlotte kilt night.
IF anyone is interested, PM me with ideas and dates, and we can get the ball rolling for next month.

Well, now that you've got all the elegant ladies in the high end SUV's all revved up, I'll double my efforts to be there next time.

Well, next time, ask your Mom to join us! She is most welcome to, ya know...

True, Mac and I didn't know that was your Mom sitting behind us. It's a good thing the talk didn't make it's way into the gutter.

Well done, you lot! Some more of the SC rabble can try to make it up next time.
Jake you mentioned waiting for a train: is there a park-and-ride now? That would be most cool. Still wishing (vainly) for a light rail from Columbia to Charlotte...

Charlotte's light rail only runs from the I-485/I-77 area, to the Uptown area. Not sure if it would make much sense for you folks coming from farther afield, but if anything, it may save on parking.

Sounds like fun! Maybe I'll make the trip from Lake Lure.
Tartan Hiker, maybe we could carpool...

That would be great to get more kiltees at the next kilt night.
Fluter, there is a light rail that runs from the southside of Charlotte to midtown (it stops at 7th st) It's cheap ($1.30 for adults one way) and keeps you from having to find a parking spot, or pay for parking in a structure.
