    Smile late-night kilt pin finds

    Hello, Rabble,

For your viewing pleasure some more ebay kilt pin options. My usual disclaimer: I am in no way connected to these pins/auctions, I just like to help get people thinking of alternative kilt pins...

Caveat emptor, there's something about that "sterling" "1920's" dragon pin that doesn't look authentic to my eye, though $10.00 would seem a fair price for what I think it is.

You do post some interesting finds, though.

    Regards,
    Rex.

    Very cool
Love checking out what you find.

The first one is a Sharps rifle (think "Quigley Down Under")

That rifle pin looks like the tie tack in my dad's collection. His would have dated back to the 50's also. I have it in my possession now. Mine is gold in color.

With some "thinking out of the box" you can come up with a lot of interesting items suitable for a pin. I assume suitable pins could be found at a craft store to attach to the item if it did not have one.

Here's the one I most frequently wear...

An inukshuk from my many travels to the bush in Ontario. I've built a number of inukshuks up there. It sort of reminds me that no matter how far away I am, I can always find my way back.
