That's in idea I can get behind. I know of The Harp Irish Pub, Churchill's Pub, Meehan's Pub in Sandysprings, and Loafing Leprechaun in Alpharetta

If folks agree, why not simply pick a Saturday night that would be consitent each month and peg them for at least the first half of the year if not longer. That leads to some predictability; something that we know is coming and can put on the calendar long in advance to arrange work schedules and make it easier for others in the region to plan to join us. They all sound good to me, but preferably not those that we know will be so loud we can't talk or so crwded or small that we wouldn't have room.

How do we pick the most convenient Saturday night..like first, second, etc. of each month and peg THAT as the recurring date? Re the rotations, I would suggest those no further out than the ones mentioned. NOTE: I do not include Cartersville, which is quite a hike for most. Top down?
    Are ther others?

I like the idea of setting a specific Saturday of the month and establishing a rotation of Pubs.

As for MacCracken's, heard of it. never been. First Saturday or Third Saturday? The Third would be this month on the 22nd. the First would be next on the 5th.

I'll extend an invitation to all you guys in North Ga for a kilted hike, brewery tour, and pub crawl here in Asheville. We've got loads of distractions for spouses, too. We staged a small but very successful gathering last year, and I'm very willing to put together similar events in the future.
