The 13th Duke of Argyll (Chief of Clan Campbell) was named after the eldest son (Torquhil Ian) of Sir Ivar Iain Colquhoun of Luss , who had died tragically in a drowning accident (the Duke of Argyll's mother is Iona Mary Colquhoun, the daughter of Sir Ivar Iain Colquhoun of Luss 8th BT, Chief of Clan Colquhoun).
