How about DC and points south?

My uncle lives astride the North/South divide.

    Cheers,

OK! I suspect it is rather chilly in parts of North America at the moment,so trews made from 16oz wool sounds good to me.I understand that the summers that you have are very much warmer than our cool, even in the summer, climate. So whilst the trews may not hang as well with 12oz cloth, they may be a tad cooler.

Probably a bit warmer, I would guess. Though with today's changing climate, you never know!

    Thanks,

My spider senses are steering me towards heavier textile.

DC was built on a swamp. It's hot and muggy in the summer, pleasant in the summer and fall, and ocassional snow, sometimes heavy, in the winter.

    Pattern?

Where did you find a pattern or patterns for trews? I have been looking, to no avail.
