OK! I suspect it is rather chilly in parts of North America at the moment,so trews made from 16oz wool sounds good to me.I understand that the summers that you have are very much warmer than our cool,even in the summer,climate.So whilst the trews may not hang as well with 12oz cloth, they may be a tad cooler.
