I have Asperger's syndrome. I don't understand anyone, or how they communicate. Every conversation is like an instant messaging session; all I have to go on are the words. No body language, no verbal subtleties or slight variations of intonation.

Of course, after 18 years of practice, I can fake it pretty well. I still have ahuge eye contact problem, though.

But, on the brighter side, I'm never involved with "high school drama" or personal politics. I just sort of float through society, making a very few real friendships, and always making sure to never to make any enemies.
