    parting with a newborn

So I took the new kilt into the alterations shop reccommended by Todd. I have to say it was difficult to hand the kilt to someone I dont know to have work done on it. I also took my MacMillan in so that they would have a point of reference and to get a loose leather strap stitched in again. I am nervously awaiting the phone call that they are finished!

Hey Grandson, when are you going to get your kilt back? You could have sent it back to its "Mama" and she would have changed tho buckles, and sent it back in the time it is taking to get the baby back from the tailor. I am anxious to see a picture of it on, with the basting out of the pleats. Grandma (emyclaire)

Well, to be perfectly fair they have only had it a little over a week. The tailors are busy due to prom season coming around no doubt. I would have loved to send it to you to fix but I THOUGHT this would be quicker. It is going to be a bit more cost effective in the way of postage back and forth. You think you are anxious to see a pic of it? I am dying to try it on. . . . Anyway I will keep you and the rest of Xmarks posted when I find out its done!
