Awreet, awreet!!

Here's is my Buchanan Modern Hunting in 16 oz, with knife-pleating to sett. Also, I am wearing my new kilt belt from Oconee (Steve/"Cavscout"), WPG khaki hose, matching Buchanan flashes, and Craigie Rob Roy sporran (ubraided). Riverkilt was RIGHT!! - Kathy Lare is good with the needle and thread!
And, the lady to my left is Carol Robertson, the best fund-raiser and VP of Ways & Means the Houston Highland Games Association ever had. We were at the new McClellan's Scottish Pub in nearby Humble, Texas, last Sunday to innaug..inog...to kick off the place! Although, not technically in Houston, it's close enough for braggin' rights. I'll say the Houston "area" now has TWO Scottish pubs!! (That's not including The Tilted Kilt, which is like a Hooters and not so traditional, but has other amenities.)

Thanks heaps, BH! It was a beautiful day out, too. The pub is situated next to a driving range and golf course and serves as the 19th hole. A Houston Chronicle photographer was on hand and took some shots of me on the driving range. I used to golf, but quit about five years ago because of my back, of which I was reminded that evening after only hitting a half bucket full.
