    A lady friend of mine always says, "Rejection is God's protection." It wasn't supposed to be.

    At the post office this morning a guy was waiting to see the postmaster. he had a battered package in his hand...very battered...because the cardboard it was shipped in was very thin. He was grumbling, "I paid $100 for this on ebay!"

    Seems like every time I decide maybe to 'try' ebay I run into something like that to remind me to just forget it.

    Ron - on the flip side, in the past year I have managed to find a 19th century Edinburgh hallmarked silver kilt pin, an autographed copy of District Tartans, along with a Prince Charles Edward Stewart kilt, several sets of socks from Hamilton Dry Good and some tartan cloth, all at very reasonable cost and with no damage etc in shipping. I think your guy in the PO was the exception, not the rule.
