Greetings everyone. I am up in Fort Collins and yet another Colorado Kiltie (not Native tho). No car and a broken leg limits my mobility, but I'm sure I can energize some of the fellas from up this way to head south for a meet up, especially if it involves a pint or two! Tonight may be too quick for me but you never know.

Cerebite and I were there to visit with Turpin and bend the elbow a little. The Cheshire Cat is a great place! When we got there the bartender, a nice young lady, wanted to know what the occasion was and so did our waiter. We were informed that one of the cooks was also a kiltie. The food was good and the company even better. Cerebite and I got to see one of Turpins sporrans that he was working on. I'm getting way too many wants and not enought $$ coming in to help.
We had the bartender take a pic for us. Here are Livingston in the Livingston tartan, Turpin with his Isle of Skye and Cerebite in the Colorado tartan.
After the pic was taken, we were talking with the bartender and a gentleman sitting at the bar. We discovered that they are very kilt friendly there, he also had a kilt and they have several functions during the year. There was an advert for a kiltmaker hanging on the wall. AND she is in the metro Denver area. I would put this place on the list for another visit.

I'd echo that last sentiment. Good food, beer, atmosphere, and company. It was great to meet Livingston and Cerebite. I especially appreciated Livingston's making the trek up from Colo Spgs when he had to get up at 00dark30 the next day.

NUTS! I would have really liked to have been there for this one. I haven't been on here much lately, and I missed this whole thread. Sorry guys.
Things have been a little depressing at work lately and I have been... in a bad mood. I haven't been on much and I know I've missed lots of other crap too, but I would have liked to have been at this one.
Oh well, maybe next time.

I knew I should have sent you a PM. Sorry.
BTW, check the tread about tartan day next month. I'm going to talk with Joyce about heading up to that.
