The location is superb! It's right close to a San Diego Trolly Station, which also connect to the train station. So for me, I'm thinking of taking the train down, and then the trolly, and then I don't have to worry about drinking and driving!
Plus the train ride back, will sober me up enough to be able to safely drive home from the train station!!!! There must be Amtrac connection close to you!

Aye, we have a train station "Union Station". It takes 24 hours to get anywhere from here. Guess I would be sober enough to drive when I get off though.

It would be perfect for a three day week-end!!!!!! One day over - one day drinking - one day back
They keep telling us that San Diego is a destination vacation - what-ever that is supposed to mean.

I'm definitely in, just need to find the time. Next weekend is no good, the following weekend I'll probably be out of town, and the weekend following that I'll be in Bakersfield for the Highland Games.
Let me know when you plan on going and I'll try to work it in.

Keep me in the loop for this one. It looks like it could be fun. I think it's a toss-up for me whether I drive or train/trolley. It doesn't look like the Oceanside-Escondido Sprinter line runs late enough.
