It looks good as far as I can tell. Of course, it would be easier to tell if it was being worn.

Be careful there, looks like a varmit is about to leap onto your kilt.

Seriously, looks great. Now, can we see some piccies of it being worn? Hard to appriciate all the nuances if it is over the chair and not on a man.

    Congratulations, it looks great!

I took your lead and started a Robertson Red ancient while with my mother at the Mayo last week. Even though we didn't finish it together it means more to me now. I'm glad you were able to finish yours up, looking forward to the photos in action.

Thank you all for the compliments. I had my mother over for brunch and showed her the finished product. She was very happy. Now she has someone to wear "the gang colours" as Ron puts it, at any important family functions. I thought that I would wait till what would have been my Grandfather Carter's 95th Birthday to finally finish it by sewing in the label I made for it on the 19th. He is one of my heroes, I thought it would be fitting.

I am going to dinner with some friends soon so I might be able to get some shots then.

Moosedaog- I hope your Mom is doing ok and good luck with your kilt.

Grant- I finished the pics are here: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/4...215/index.html
Scroll down a bit the rest of the pictures are there.

    Thanks again all,
    Sara
