    Ayin,
Thanks for the generous offer. I'm pretty much to the point of wanting to be finished with Kiltmart, so I'll find a starving local piper that needs to be kilted, but won't tell them where I purchased it lest they be tempted. I will suggest the other GOOD merchants that deserve the business.
But I really do appreciate your offer.
    Many thanks,
    Keith

So if you are going to sell it, what size and tartan?

Not selling. Giving to a deserving young local piper that can't afford a kilt...so that I'm not regularly reminded of the Kiltmart fiasco. Thanks for asking though.

Personally if I couldn't find a piper to give it to I would ship it back to them with a demand for a refund. With their track record you should have no problem getting your credit card provider to charge them back if they don't want to comply.

I agree with you, but I have a young guy in mind. He and his family don't have the money for a kilt, and he's been working very hard to master the practice chanter. A friend of mine is loaning him a starter set of pipes, and I think having a kilt of his own will be a nice bit of recognition for his hard work.

Fortunately, I believe the size Kiltmart incorrectly shipped will fit him. At most, I think I might need to move a buckle for him.

Thank you for the suggestion, Chef!
