Jay -- those photos look great. I can't wait to see it on!
What I said in my reply to Jay's email was that the Inversnaid is one of FB's smaller bodied models. If someone is looking for a really large sporran, go for the Inverarnan, or Inverlochy, or the Duin Uasail Mor. (The deminsions are given on the web site). But not everyone wants or needs a huge sporran. Like Jay said, a smaller one can look better (especially on smaller men) and not cover as much of the kilt.
That being said, the opening on this one is still very large, which I find especially helpful in seeing what you are getting from your sporran. (Hint, when opening the cantle, instead of pulling the front down, pull it straight out, to get a really wide opening -- like you are opening a giant coin purse).
And Jay's comments on the leather loosening over time are spot on. This is an item that you will "break in" with wear, like a good baseball glove.
Jay, congrats, and enjoy, my friend!
