    convert !

Last Christmas, I managed to convert the lad playing cornemuse with me on the previous pictures.
With his permission, and thanks to Christine his gentle wife, here is Mr. Patrick Raffin , kilted and wearing his chained belted sporran to low, but nevertheless, proudly kilted !

Ha ha! Well done Robert. We'll convert them one at a time, if we have to!
BTW, do you know Robert, if any of your discs are available here in the States? I really enjoy what you have on your myspace and would like more.
    Cheers

Perhaps on e-bay... Try my name or "Le quintette de cornemuses".
Otherwise everything is sold-out ! This week-end, I'm in Italy to record a new CD with young Italian artists.

Have fun at the recording sessions! I have found and ordered a copy of "Menagerie" from Japan.

I just happened to have my copy here at the office, so I scanned the cover and tune notes for you. Great CD all around, Robert. Someday I'm hoping to have a 23 pouce cornemuse with all the Sautivet-style decoration such as the one you have in the photo. Lovely instrument!

    The tradition continues!
