Brave doesn't even cover it. My first time will forever be tainted by the fact that I had to stand watching while my wife decided which 'pads' to buy this month! The only thing that could have been slightly worse when feeling a little self-conscious whilst kilted in Nascar country would have been if she'd been shopping for lingerie

Consider that your wife could have sent you out kilted by youself to buy those damned things (the confused look on the checkout girl would have been som compensation though). Congrats, now do it more often.

Congradulations, man! That first daytime run is a BIG one, but the kilt-wearing habit has to start somewhere. My first time out was for lunch at Macaroni Grill, with a few mundane errands afterward, back in May of '02. Boy, does time fly.
Good work.
Also remember that it feels more natural to wear the kilt around, every time you do it.
