    X-Kilt sort of Weeekend

So, thanks to Alan, I sewed my first x-kilt this weekend! I haven't sewed in a long time, and even then it wasn't much. It took me almost as much time to figure out the machine as it did to make the kilt.

That said, it was a great experience. The directions were fantastic, and while my sewing skills still need a bit of work, I think the kilt came out very well! I wore it in to work this morning (finished it yesterday afternoon) and in these photos I had just come from a sitting through a three hour client meeting. So, don't mind the wrinkles. :-)

Here are some photos (should be working now!):

    photos...

I'm not sure why they aren't showing up. They look fine in the source code. Is there just a delay or am I missing something?

    Let's try again...

Since the photos don't seem to work :-( you can see them on my blog at: http://kiltme.com

Sounds like fun and I am contemplating an Xkilt myself. Can't see your pictures, either. Would love a reference shot.

Nice job! I tried to comment on your space, but the system demanded much information and two authentications and I just gave up. However, the kilt itself looks really good!

Grabbing the address can be the tricky part. If you right click on the photo, then on "Properties" you'll find the URL. Copy the whole thing and paste it into the "add image" tool. It usually takes a couple of attempts, and then there's no problem.

Yeah, typepad has all sorts of anti-spam things which make it not so friendly. I may be able to make it easier though.

    Thanks again!

Very nice kilt. I love the color-such a rich brown. You've done yourself proud!

    Be well,
