Seriously though, it's difficult enough to get many male Historic Scotland staff to wear a kilt as it is and I don't think the new ones will improve that, if anything the super trendiness might dissuade them. But although Edinburgh Castle is undoubtedly Historic Scotland's busiest and most popular property it is still part of the wider organisation. What wasn't absolutely clear in the article if if Historic Scotland staff just happened to be the models of a new concept rather than a planned re branding of Historic Scotland as a whole or just for Edinburgh Castle staff.
