    sorry.
Thanks for the Skype Steve. It's certainly a shame that you might not be able to carry them any more. I'm following NorthernSky's find and bidding on one.

Okay...I managed to get one of these little wonders...but I'm not surre if it's broken or not.

Is there supposed to be a little round metal thingy attached to a small, flexible plastic tube that's rolling around loose inside the water compartment?

Actually, the more I think about that thingy, the more it looks like it feeds the water into the "burst of steam" bit and so it has to be flexible in order to work both horizontally and vertically.

Just get edgy when I take something out of the package and hear a little piece rattling around inside...

Yes, it's supposed to be there...... that tube is how the water gets to the steam area!

    sorry.

I bought mine about a year ago at a store that carries closeout and discontinued items so I just assume the Gizmo is no more. At the time they had dozens on the shelves so it's conceivable that they still might have a few. I'll stop by today and check it out.

Seeing as how every indication is that this little gizmo is now out of production, and I like mine so much, I just ordered a spare!
