I will admit a man in a kilt does make my heart skip a few beats. A friend of mine is the bodyguard to quite a famous fantasy writer so he tends to dress up to fit in with the various cons that she goes to. He had to stop wearing a kilt to the cons because he kept having problems with the girls lifting his kilt up.

In a similar vein, a few years ago a crowd of us were in Galway. 2 of us were trying to get in a couple of clubs, without success. At the third or 4th place we went straight to the bouncer and asked if he would let us in. He said no, I normally don't question bouncers because you will always loose. the guy was quite up front and said "The problems not with you guys it the girls we can't control" They clearly didn't want to make any trouble for themselves particulary having to deal with leery women. We did eventually get in a club and the bouncers were right

Yeah, the Highland Games are definitely the priority. I'm only going because I'm expecting my new SWK Black Shadow any day now and want to get some extra kilt time in

Well extra kilt time is always a good time. It's like kilt watching. The more the better. At least I got to spend time looking at this one guys really cute tush.
Oh don't get me wrong. I'm not forgetting the patriotism and the honor of reconnecting to our roots and I do pay attention to the tartans and feel a sense of pride that my heritage is Scottish. It just ties so nicely into that part of mind that is not quite pure.

Wore my kilt to work for Tartan Day a couple years ago. One of the young ladies here saw me walking between a couple rows of cubes and blurted out "YOU'RE SEXY!" Sure made this old man grin.
