I posted in this section believing that the tweed made it non-traditional. I stand corrected, and happily so! Thank you Mr. Newsome for the clarification on selvedge construction. My next adventure is to find a tweed with a closed selvedge, then!
I am one of only a few kilt-wearers in Bozeman, and proudly so. I turn heads every time I go out (which my wife enjoys) and I enjoy dressing well. (As I look at my pics ... my shirt isn't properly tucked and I'm not wearing a cap. I'd never leave the house such a condition!)
I only need to gain approval to wear kilts to work... I'm going to work on that when my supervisor comes back to town next week.
