Like all immigrants, guess I'll be sending that $600 home to the old country, putting it towards that eggplant leather RKilt.
If not that, will go towards the next Kathy Lare hand sewn, the Antarctic tartan. So some will go to the old old country, Scotland for the fabric, and some will stay here with the craftsman.

Its for dang sure goin' for kilts though.

Quick question for you, please. Where will you be getting the tartan from? It's high on my wishlist as well.

					Hey Racer96,
The nice thing about having Kathy Lare as my kiltmaker is that she handles the tartan finding.

 I emailed these folks http://www.ukaht.org/shop.htm#Tartan
and got a prompt email back that she was on holiday and would contact me in a week or two. D.C. Dalgliesh weaves the tartan.

Kathy indicated to me that she would get the tartan from Dalgleish.

 So...I guess the Dalgleish.

I'm curious to see how that turns out in a kilt. I'm not sure I like all the white. I'm sure you will supply us with pics!

					Hey Jersey,
Barb Tewksbury already sewed up an Antarctic tartan kilt. There are pics of her daughter wearing it somewhere on this board. That's what got me so hooked on it. That and a matching life sized toy stuffed pengin I bought up in Ouray and now stares back a clients in my office.

Think if you search the board for Antarctic you'll find the pics of Barb's kilt.
