Rubbers!
Which brings in this questionhaunting me for a few days. I remember my strides in the marshy Highlands... and I'm also preparing holidays by the ocean side in Brittany. Wellintons, or rubbers are a must. But they don't go very well with a kilt.
What would be the alternative ?
Thank You,
Robert

I always just go for gore-tex hiking boots. They have done me fine when hiking in marshy areas.

You mean I can't just go to the fabric store, buy a length of plaid material, wrap it around my waist and call it a Kilt?
What is this world coming to?!?!?

Actually, that's what I did for my first kilt.
It was Hallowe'en, and I bought five yards of plaid flannel, pleated the back, wrapped it around me, and grabbed a sword and went trick-or-treating.

There is nothing wrong with costumes. Just curious, what did you do with the flannel?
