Thanks! I'm hoping to wear it to work on Thursday. If I can get it done by then. Or at a minimum add the belt loops!

I'm trying to decide on pockets now.

    Very intelligent :
It adds a little colour and a traditional touch to it.
    Clever !

I think I'm mostly finished. I'm feeling a little frustrated because it doesn't fit as well as I'd like it to. I didn't quite taper the waist enough. I don't have the energy to take it apart and re-do it though. So, for now, it is what it is. Here are two photos. I'll have to wait until work tomorrow to get a better shot.

Thanks again for all the encouragement!

    Great Job!

Nicely done. Looks great. I hope to give your technique a try in the near future.
    Thanks for the posts!

It looks good as is to me! Maybe a little bit of pressing, but that is all I think it needs. I'm not much on the narrow apron of the X kilt, but that's just me. I think it is an outstanding example of what can be done with Alan's wonderful X kilt instructions.

    Final pictures

Here are the three I just took. After sleeping on it, I think I'm fairly happy with it. I may still try to take it in a bit when I have the energy. Or I may just start another one. :-)

Thanks everyone and especially thanks Alan!
