My wife and I joined the Disney Movie Club recently and one of our recent purchases was Bedknobs & Broomsticks with Angela Landsbury and David Tomlison. Hadn't seen it in quite some time.
There is a kilted dancing scene during the musical number "Portabello Road", and then near the end when the knights and other soldiers artifacts from the museum comes to life to fight back the German landing party. Up on the hill is a group of "ghost" pipers playing a march.
I remember seeing that movie from when I was a little kid! I'm not sure I understood what the movie was about when I saw it because I was so young, but I seem to remember the ghost pipers... And also armored ghost horsies. Some how I remember thinking about how you can see through Scotch tape like you could see through the ghosts... Like I said, I was a little kid.

That was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Even back in those days I loved the kilted soldiers and the ghosties. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Geez, that brings back memories. I loved that movie. I think all the times I watched it and the Disney Davy Crockett with Fess Parker were practically wore out the tape from the video store.
In fact... I was trying to remember this movie's name back when that thread on "What's your favorite scottish movie" was floating around on the forum. Hope somebody slipped it in there.
