That was my first kilt, too (before I found out about X-Marks, the Gold Bros., and other such important things). I still wear mine a lot. Very comfy in warm weather. It's my go-to kilt for non-hiking situations in warm weather (I just don't tell anyone where it came from )

I agree. I love the kilt, but I have a dilema (sp?). I have read multiple bad issues regarding the Gold Bros, and i don't really want to support them in their business if they are going to break certain rules.
But again, how come direct linked merchants to the Gold Bros website charge close $200 for the 8 yard kilts, but if you go anywhere else they are much cheaper???? They must be selling them to other merchants extremely cheap for the merchants to turn around and sell them for maximum $110.
Is there a way to order straight from the Gold Brothers if I were so interested again? Like I said before though, I don't know what I'm going to do. I like the cheap product they have, but I don't want to support them either.

If you're willing to take the risk, Frugal Corner offers it for $90, I believe. I ordered one, and, even after initially ordering a different tartan, delivery was made in a week, flashes followed in two.
It was for someone else who is very pleased with it, even if he has been negligent in posting a pic of it.
