I LOVE this portion of this look! (Don't have the shoes, tho.....darn.....hum... yet I really like the length of the skirt w/the OTKs and the shoes..... yummy!

This one, too..... and I think I have shoes very similar on order - won't be delivered until May-ish, I think. I like the tone-on-tone black against the red of the tartan/plaid.

    F-h.c.a.g. !! :)

    Those are some GREAT pictures!

Question, the "corset in royal blue by someone" - does it lace in the back, or is there a (heaven forbid?) hidden zipper in the front, or just how does it go together.

I was looking around online hoping to find similar, albeit just a bit "longer" from ribs to hips - and I seem to find that particular style (or almost the same) by searching for, "Strapped Renaissance style satin lace-up corset" of all things - althought some sites seem to characterize that style as a "bustier" ... confusing.

I like the length of the printed, non-strapped one a LOT..... but don't seem to find any 'long' ones in the style of the "royal blue by someone" one.

Both corsets are "Tesa Classic, by Escante". Bought in L.A. I presume, since that's where my sister-in-law gets most of her stuff.

The longer, strapless one is also my favorite.

Both of them lace up in the back, but also have a "cheater" zipper in the front, so once you have them adjusted, you can actually put them on yourself (although, where's the fun in that?)

    Be well,

Yeah! I am finding them now, using the proper search terms

The cheater zipper would be useful for me, since if I'm down here and Scratchy's up there - the only person to help w/be my 18 yo son.....er....ah.... I can justhear it now, LOL! "MOM! WHAT IN THE HECK ARE YOU DOING AND WHY DO YOU WANT TO WEAR THAT AND.... DOES JAY KNOW ABOUT THIS.....AND NO WAY! THAT'S JUST TOO WIERD A THING FOR ME TO BE INVOLVED IN, MOM! EWWWWWW......"

    Love this one!

    http://www.lingeriewebshop.com/size.php
Their sizing chart makes NO sense tho! According to the individual waist & hip measurements, I'd be a "dress size 10-12"..... no way! A USA size 10 dress on my would hang like a sleeping bag!

Is there a good guide somewhere for proper measuring and sizing for corsets that you know of?
