Oh, THAT Macdonald tartan. Got me one of those, but no good pleat shots....

Just laid out the kilt (USA Kilts semi-trad), and rumpled the pleats a bit to hopefully show the pleating better.
Here you go. Hope its helpful. Sure is a busy tartan.

And the Modern Macdonald is a symmetric tartan. Only the Dress MacDonald is asymmetric.

Never seen this Macdonald tartan pleated to stripe that I remember. You could check the multitude of Clan Donald websites for picies if you haven't already, or maybe you could pin it up yourself and see if its possible...seems a very busy tartan to pleat to stripe but what do I know...?
